'The' female body is never still.

It bleeds.

It carries.

It changes.

It grows.

It heals.

It softens.

It remembers.

It lives.

It is seen.

It is judged.

It is politicised.

And somehow,

it's never entirely our own.

Body Fragments began with the desire to show

real bodies just as they are.

Bodies that don't need to become anything

before they deserve to be seen and celebrated.

In a world that constantly asks women to improve, correct or shrink themselves, this project is an invitation to simply exist.

To pause. To take space. To acknowledge your body as it is.

I hope the experience itself  becomes a quiet act of self-recognition.

Of looking at your body with a little more kindness.

The cast and the photographs are simply what remain afterwards.

A reminder of a version of yourself that deserves to be remembered.

Not because it reflected society's idea of beauty.

But because it was yours.

How does it work?

Sometimes I open small series when I'm looking for

specific body fragments or ideas.

Sometimes the project grows through personal enquiries.
